Family Video	Sullivan's Foods

Family Video, the nation's largest privately-owned video store, opened in late 2007 on the expanding Illinois Route 38 retail corridor in Rochelle. The new Family Video location is 6480 sq. ft. and provides patrons with thousands of movie titles and video games. Hundreds of free rentals include children's movies, sports and fitness videos, and educational movies that are available every day. Family Video has over 4500 employees and more than 500 stores in 15 states, with plans to open 50 to 70 new stores each year. The Rochelle store employs 10-14.	Welcoming visitors and residents to their full-line grocery store is Sullivan's Foods, located on the Illinois Route 38 retail corridor. Along with traditional grocery store offerings Sullivan's Foods has an extensive bakery and deli. It is not uncommon to find locally-grown produce when in season and a wide-selection throughout the year for every recipe. Sullivan's Pharmacy, with its professional, experienced and well-informed staff is also located within the grocery store. The family-owned grocery store chain is based in Savanna, Illinois.

Walgreens	Wal-Mart

Founded in 1901, Walgreens is not only the nation's largest retailer in pharmacy care, it's considered the leader in innovative drugstore retailing. Walgreens is also one the country's fastest growing retailers, with 621 new store openings in 2007 and 550 new stores planned for 2008, including a mid-summer opening in Rochelle. The new Rochelle Walgreens is located on Highway 251 on the site of the old Rochelle Township High School campus. The company has selected a building of brick that will nicely compliment the community, plus a well-designed landscaping plan will also enhance the neighborhood.	The nation's largest retailer has been in Rochelle for several decades. Today the store is located on Highway 251, with plans to build a new store on the Illinois Route 38 retail corridor in the future. Most know the story of Wal-Mart's founder Sam Walton and the chain's meteoric rise since the first discount store opened in Rogers, Arkansas in 1962. Today there are 6500 Wal-Mart and Sam's Clubs stores with 1.9 million associates and amazingly over 179 million customers.
